   So recently, I wrote a post about writing letters. You can find it here, if you haven’t read it yet. But essentially, I covered the beautiful release that it can bring to you, as well as new perspectives on old events, and also that sending a letter can really make someone’s day, and help encourage them way beyond what you might imagine. I also vowed to bring some ideas for letter-writing to my dear readers, so that even those of you struggling for ideas will have access to this beautiful practice, at least to get the ball rolling. Without further ado, ladies and gentlemen, here is your first idea: write a letter to your past self.

Hydration- who cares?

   When someone’s trying to “get healthy” or “stay healthy”, there are some definite clichés that we hear. Eat less move more, get more sleep, and yes, staying hydrated is one of those clichés. And while I’m aware that many people walk around dehydrated most of the time, many of us also don’t understand the importance of drinking water, or what it can really do for you.

Don’t save your love for a rainy day

  Humanity is in an eternal struggle of planning for our future vs. yolo philosophy. (And I’ve written about this before—you can find that piece here.) Basically, it comes down a balanced approach in life. You want to plan for the future in order to move forward in time, but you also need to acknowledge your hopes and dreams in order to live a fulfilled life.

  But there’s a time when you should never be balanced. Never ever try to wait for it to be convenient to express appreciation or love. That beautiful emotion is dangerous let stagnate. The danger, however, is not in what it becomes, but rather, what may never be.
